Atomic Blues Band

Doug Phillips originally from St Louis recently moved back to The St Louis area from the San Diego area to reform "The Atomic Blues Band" with Marty Monson and Gary John Gardner. The "Atomic Blues Band's" sound is defined by Marty Monson's solid backbone on the drums and the driving and tasteful bottom that Gary John Gardner so skillfully provides on the bass. Gary also contributes vocally to the band. With such an incredible band, Doug as guitarist and vocalist can't help but feel the passion and soul of these amazing musicians. The band plays covers and originals with the passion, experience, and soul of the vintage musicians that they are. Even in the covers that they perform there is a refreshing atmosphere of originality.

The Atomic Blues Band is a vintage Blues & Classic Rock band specializing in "Power Blues". We combine original material with " Radio Active" versions of classics from the past.
