Dan Smith

Dan Smith received a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and has done post-graduate work at Indiana University and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He has studied with Robert Souza, Gary Smith and Allan Dean.

Dan is a busy freelance player who has performed at the MUNY, the Fox Theatre and at Riverport Amphitheatre backing such artists as Sammy Davis Jr., Doc Sevinsen, the Four Tops, the Temptations, Manhattan Transfer, Barry Manilow, Natalie Cole, the Moody Blues and Jerry Lewis, to name a few.

He has performed with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, St. Louis Repertory Theatre and has toured with the Glenn Miller and Russ Morgan orchestras.
