Hillary Fitz Band

Biography

Hillary Fitz is a Saint Louis based singer-songwriter. Her style is a fusion of indie-folk, bluegrass, and blues influences.

Her guitar-playing combines elements of bluegrass and jazz, to form a  unique finger picking style. Her vocals draw inspiration from jazz and  soul female vocalists whom she admires- such as Billie Holiday, Regina  Spektor, Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, Sarah Vaughn and more.

Although she does enjoy playing covers, her passion for music is  fully expressed through her songwriting. Her original music is a  reflection of her experiences and observations. She learned from an  early age that song-writing is a powerful tool for making sense of the  good, the bad, the beautiful, and the craziness of this world.
