Teddy McCready
Biography
Teddy McCready, a native St. Louisan, has performed and recorded music thru out the world since the age of 18. Teddy has recorded and performed with many well known musicians from the George Michael band to members of Santana as well as Denise Williams’ band.
He recorded his first album, “The Stimulus Is” under the engineering and direction of Jerry Abbott, father of Pantera’s guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott. The album was mastered at Capital Records by “The Great” Wally Traugott who has mastered records from Michael McDonald to Aretha Franklin. In 1989 Teddy appeared on the television show “Star Search” and was picked up by the producer of show, Sam Riddle. He recorded and was mentored by Sam Riddle for several years.
Teddy McCready has a soulful voice and an R&B groove oriented music style with influences from, Luther Vandross, Paul Carrack, Michael McDonald, Paul Rodgers, George Michael, Seal, Prince, and Stevie Wonder. Expect to hear some of the songs to these artists as well as various top artists of all time.
